Pada era 1960-1970, tiada banyak pilihan perisa biasanya, cuma ada perisa coklat, cip coklat Sekarang sudah ada banyak perisa Seperti teh hijau, mangga yam, beri biru, kacang merah dan jagung Tutti Fruti pun ada Carnival dan Tic Tac Toe yang merupakan campuran coklat dan vanila Hai, nama saya Goh Soo Khin dan saya Kenneth, saya menjalankan bisnes ais krim bersama bapa Chip Guan Heng ditubuhkan oleh bapa saya pada tahun 1970 Sekarang sudah 48 tahun Kami jual pelbagai makanan berkaitan dengan ais krim termasuk ais kering, biskut waffle dan roti Para penjual ais krim ini akan tiba awal jika rumahnya jauh seawal pukul 6 pagi Selagi masih ada ais krim di dalam peti mereka Mereka memerlukan ais kering untuk mengelakkan ais krim lebur Apabila penjual ais krim datang kami akan meminta pesanan dan mengambil stok untuk mereka dari peti di luar Jika pesanan pukal diperlukan, kami akan mengambil stok dari bilik sejuk Bilik sejuk bersuhu -18 darjah Celsius Apabila kami mengambil stok untuk penjual Kami masuk bilik tanpa pakaian tambahan, tetapi kalau kami berada di dalam bilik untuk masa yang lebih panjang Kami perlu memakai jaket- Jaket dan sarung tangan.
Stok kami disusun dengan prinsip “yang masuk dulu, keluar dulu”, stok lama diletak di hadapan supaya dijual pertama sekali Kalau ais krim yang disimpan lama akan mengecut Menjadi lebih kecil,
jadi penjual yang membelinya tidak untung Terdapat beberapa jenis penjual Penjual yang lebih tua mempunyai lisen ‘seluruh negara’ Mereka mempunyai kebebasan pergi ke sana sini Ada yang menjual di Orchard Road Bugis Junction.. Yang lebih muda (dalam bisnes ini) mempunyai lisen tempatan Mereka dibenarkan menjual ais krim di kawasan tertentu Saya sudah makan ais krim bertahun-tahun Tiada pun kencing manis atau darah tinggi Jadi kamu tidak ada “3 Tinggi”
(Darah tinggi, kolesterol tinggi, kencing manis)? Kolesterol saja yang tInggi

  2. I was thinking the Ice Cream Man was THIS guy so the whole time I was thinking, where the heck does HE get it from? Turns out he's the one making it, DUH. I am not smart.

  3. In my country it's very rare to sell ice cream on street stalls or motorbike like that, as we have ton of minimarkets here.

  5. I saw in the news that the Government is trying to banned those Ice Cream vendors on bike?But yes,ice cream vendors on bike somehow taste better than from the shops.

  10. in the usa, most people just like to mix their ice cream with candies, chocolate, caramel. theres not enough green tea, mango, yam, etc. especially in supermarkets. /sigh
