Today we be preparing oat cookies For which we have taken 100 gm unsalted butter If you can’t find unsalted butter you can put salted butter as well 50 gms all purpose flour 100 gms oats which we have coarsely grind 50 gms atta (whole wheat flour) we would also require vanilla essence 150 gms sugar (granulated) 1/2 teaspoon salt if you are already using salted butter then you don’t need to add this salt 2-3 tablespoon milk 1/2 teaspoon + 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 2 tablespoon choco chip Now we will add sugar into our unsalted butter and mix it well butter should be on room temperature if our butter is tight, it would be difficult to mix it well we have to mix it till sugar get mixed fully in to the butter now in a plate we have sieved atta, all purpose flour, salt and baking soda so that it all get mixes well now in the butter and sugar mixture bowl we will pour our dry ingredients now we will add oats add the choco chips as well and mix well and add the milk in this mixture we will also add the vanilla essence as our mixture is still a bit dry, we will add 1 more tablespoon milk now our dough is ready, we will keep this in refrigerator for 30 mins AFTER 30 mins we have now taken out the dough from the refrigerator we have taken a baking try and put foil paper on it we have also greased the foil paper so that our cookies do not get stick to the paper now we will make small ball out of our dough we will slightly press the balls from the middle and put it on the baking try while keeping on the try make sure you maintain adequate distance between each cookie as after baking cookie expands In mean while we have have put our oven for preheat on 180 C for 10 minutes now after baking the cookies at 180 C for 20 minutes our cookies are ready once they come out of oven, the cookies may be a little soft but let them rest for 10-15 mins and they will turn out perfect
