Hello, today I am making an individual eggless chocolate chip cookie. It’s a microwave recipe. First, add 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar in 1 tablespoon of melted unsalted butter and whisk to combine. Then add in 1/8 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and 2 teaspoons of whole milk and stir until combined. Now add in 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and fold until homogenously mixed. Finally fold in 2 tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Also dark or special dark chocolate chips are wonderful for this recipe. This is edible, eggless cookie dough without baking powder. And transfer to a microwavable plate and form one big round cookie. For successful microwaving, the center should be thicker than the edges. Now microwave the cookie for 30 seconds at 700W. The power of individual microwave oven varies, so take a look and stop microwaving when the center is set and the edges look still uncooked. And again microwave for 20 seconds. Finally microwave for 10 seconds. The cookie should continue being cooked and get firmer out of microwave oven. Voila! After 20 minutes the cookie’s still warm, so you can eat with a fork and a knife. Look at the center, it’s cooked, it’s not burnt. This is okay. And when completely cooled, the cookie should be firm enough like this. You can also bake it at 375 degrees F. (190C) for about 11 minutes. Then that will be an eggless, no leavening agent chocolate chip cookie. See? It has beautiful wrinkles like other regular chocolate chip cookies. I'm also using it for Father's Day putting different coloured smarties to represent his favourite footy team. I've struggled for a while to get the perfect chewy cookie and this recipe is perfect. I tried this recipe and it was so amazing i freakin swear but umm i used soymilk instead of wholemilk and i also added like a pinch of baking soda and i also microwaved it for 40secs then i stopped and checked the cookie then i microwaved them again for 20 secs, stopped and checked them again and added another 30secs ( so thats 1min and 30secs in total) Oh and i also didnt have brown sugar but i had dark brown and white sugar so i used 1 tbsp and 2 tsp of white sugar and 1 tsp of dark brown

Mine was a mess cause I didn't measure well the ingredients and I didn't have chocolate chips so I used a bit of cocoa powder and I put it in the microwave 30 seconds and it looked like it was ready but since in the tutorial she put it a minute in the microwave I put it 10 more sec so I took it out and I tried it and it was kinda hard but it taste so good.

The cookie was a little hard and chewy but amazing for eggless no leavener cookie it tastes fine without vanilla extract unless you want the cook to have some luxurious taste it’s fine. Also if you don’t have chocolate chips cut up a fun sized Hershey bar and it’s so amazing and googy

If you don’t have vanilla you could also replace half or all the milk in the recipe with vanilla flavored milk (I used almond milk but I think others work too) I replaced half the milk with vanilla almond milk and it worked just fine. The vanilla wasn’t as prominent but it was there. I was actually chewier and softer if that’s what you like. I also read some where that you could substitute that same amount of vanilla extract for maple syrup or honey. Haven’t tried it yet but saw it on a lot of blog post so I’m sure it works.

  11. So I tried it and it was alright the uncooked dough was better than the cooked cookie lol. It was a little over cooked but I was not sure how many whatts my microwave was. It stuck to the plate a little not a big deal. I also didn’t have chocolate chips so I cut up milk chocolate Hershey kisses I would not recommend milk chocolate.

  13. What could you substitute for the milk? I am thinking a partial vegan egg, part of a banana, nut butter, silken tofu, apple sauce. I am lactose intolerant so cannot have milk. I could also use coconut milk vs an egg substitute. Would a nut butter work in place of margarine, like peanut or almond butter? Also could you add a pinch of baking soda? What would you suggest? TY

  17. I used salted butter and it worked, I don't think it's that great, but if you're craving it and don't have any then I think it's a good idea to make it.

  20. I barely had sugar, and I didn't have butter so I used canola oil, I didn't have whole milk, only 2 percent milk, and it still turned out great!
