Howdy folks it is Barry here welcome to my
virgin kitchen now have you ever wanted to make your own homemade nostalgic video game
controllers. Yeah you have, yeah you have. So a couple of weeks ago I ordered from America
these video game controller moulds and actually in that time one of my favourite youtubers
Rosanna pansino has actually used them too but they are really cool you have like a mega
drive controller, a Nintendo one and a playstation one.
I am kind of gutted there is not an N64 controller in there because I spent a whole Year playing
goldeneye with 3 mates I really went awol with that thing.
So yeah it is a cool thing I did 6 different versions of it and it actually turned out
pretty darn cool. So this is what I did, I started with a nice lemon and lime ice lolly
themed one and combined sprite with lemon and lime chunks and fresh mint. That was looking
good I was excited about that one. I went for a gummy style combo using some
haribo mix, so I went for the egg the gummy bears and a coke bottle, I put that into a
mould with some sprite, zingy times. Then I thought I would go a little bit old school
by making up some jelly or jello depending upon where you are in the World. So I made
my mix together and then simply poured it straight into my mould.
And for a chocolate twist I melted together some chocolate and did a peanut and M&M style
combo in one for a nice kinky surprise filling, and also using the melted chocolate I used
some bashed up honeycomb and some mini marshmallow pieces looking so good and that one surprisingly
tasted good too. And a white chocolate one, but this time trying
to give it a white polka dot feel using some popping candy so popping candy and melted
white chocolate looking good. Now of course the hard bit is putting it in
the fridge or freezer to let it set now if you use baking chocolate that will set pretty
darn fast but if making the lollies you will have to wait a little longer right? He was
getting a bit impatient too. I actually left mine in the freezer overnight
to fully firm up and the chocolate in the fridge just needed a couple of hours when
they came out the freezer I was happy with how they looked, they had held their shape
and nice and transparent with the gummy bear and lemon and lime feel. The jelly one I was
slightly happier with but then I took out the chocolate ones and it went to a whole
new level. The playstation one, the Nintendo and the
mega drive they were all looking absolutely incredible. Oh my goodness I think I put a
little too much popping candy in that one right there, yes it has stopped but when you
slice it down the middle they are looking awesome.
So there we go homemade nostalgic video game controllers and remember with these moulds
you can put them in the oven fridge and freezer so let me know down below what you would do
with yours. Also down below is a link to where I got this
if you are eagle eyed you would notice there are actually 2 halves to this I want to keep
one, but this half here can go to you. So leave a comment down below, anything and I
will pick a random winner and send the mould to you just like the square egg video, but
I will clean it.

  12. First time watching a video of this kind so I don't know but did you just put sprit in the refrigerator? Is that a thing?

  13. Shouldn't this be called "My None Virgin Kitchen" instead since you know *cough cough* your not a virgin.

  14. Nice video Barry. If I may share how I'd do it, I'd go for this. Do all chocolate but I'd have a theme. They'd all be chocolate but for the extra additions I'd do this. For the NES, it's a classic system so you add in regular M&M's. For the Mega Drive/Genesis, that was the edgy cool kids system so, gotta go with Coffee M&M's. And for the Playstation, it's the newest of the 3 so you have to go with either the Cruncy Raspberry or Crunchy Mint as those are the brand new flavors as of this comment.
