First, cut the slices into small pieces. Here we are using fruit bread, you can use any bread that is available. Cut the bread slices into medium size pieces and keep them aside. Switch on the stove and heat a pan. Then add 2 tablespoons of butter Here we are using home-made butter, you can use any butter that is available in the market. Allow it to melt. Then add mustard seeds, when it starts crackling add remaining tempering seeds. Then add Bengal gram and urad dal. Mix and fry it well for half a minute. Now add cashew nuts. Cashew nuts won’t take much time to fry so add them last. Mix and fry them. After a minute, add curry leaves and mix it well. Now add a pinch of hing (optional) and mix it well. Then add finely chopped ginger and green chilies. Mix it well. Then add finely chopped onions and mix it well. Cover and cook the onions So that the onions won’t take time to cook. After 2 minutes, remove the plate and mix it once. Now add chopped tomatoes and mix it well. then add enough salt. Also, add turmeric powder and mix it well. Again cover and cook the tomato mixture under low flame. After 2 minutes remove the lid and mix the tomatoes once and then add red chili powder. Mix the ingredients. Cook the tomatoes under low flame until soft. Now add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix it well. Again cover and cook the mixture for 2 minutes. Then remove the lid and mix the tomato mixture once. Now add half glass of water and mix it well until combined. So that the tomatoes and onions won’t take time to cook. Cover and cook the mixture for few more minutes. After 2 minutes remove the lid and mix it once. Now add bread pieces into the tomato masala and mix it well until combined. It is easy to prepare the bread Upma within 10 minutes. Mix it well until combined. Bread Upma is ready now. Switch off the stove and transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Tasty Bread Upma is ready now.
