Hello Namaskar. How are you? Its the first time we are tasting and saying an introduction in Veenas Curryworld. We are shooting the end of the show. Thought of doing the intro also with it. Todays item is an omelette that is outside the bread. It has the bread inside and the omelette outside. Its awesome when the bread is soaked in the egg like this. It melts into the mouth like this. Eating and showing an introduction? So dont forget to see the video. Lets begin to make our bread omelette. I had posted another version of this. When I tried it this way, Jan and I liked it more than the other one. Try this version too. It can be made in minutes and its easy to make too. I have taken 3 greenchillies for 2 eggs. Wash them well. Finely chop the green chillies. Green chillies are the main highlight of this recipe. Its when you bite the chillies along with it, you get that particular punch of the dish. You get a good kick from the taste. Finely chop the chillies now. The chillies would have felt sad when I chopped them in the morning itself Now transfer these to a bowl. Next we need shallots. I have taken just 3-4 shallots or you could take little onions too. Shallots are tastier here. If you have shallots, use them. If not you can use onions. But I prefer shallots. It gives a special taste. I always use shallots when making egg burji or omelette. Now finely chop the shallots too. Now transfer this also to the bowl. Now to make this a bit colourful, I am adding little crushed chilli flakes. Even if you dont have them its ok. You can even add some ripe chillies too. I am adding these now. Add salt as needed and then break the well washed eggs to that bowl. Beat this well. No need to add turmeric pdr or chilli pdr to this. I had added turmeric pdr to the 1st video I had made. For this we need just 1 slice of bread. I have taken it here. Dont forget to check out our homemade bread recipe. Many sent me messages saying they dont buy from out. So happy to know that they follow our recipe and make from home. Now lets make with this 1 slice of bread Switch on the gas and place a dosa tawa over it. Dosa tawa is the best here. Sprinkle some oil over the tawa. I prefer coconut oil here. Since its winter here, the coconut oil is hardened. Let it melt. Only then pour the egg mix on the tawa. I had mentioned all that in the other video too. Make sure to follow such small points to get perfect result I have kept this on medium flame. Once the oil is spread all over the tawa, add the beaten egg mixture. Spread it over the tawa. Green chillies should be seen all over. You can avoid green chillies when making for kids. Now place the bread in the middle of the egg omelette. Now fold from the sides and cover the bread. Cover all the 4 sides this way. You should do this when its half way cooked. Only then it will stay covered. Turn it over immediately. Otherwise the egg will harden soon without sticking on to the bread. Dont cook it for long after it turning it over also. Our special tasty bread omelette is ready. It has a special taste when you cover it to a square like this Another thing is that it should be covered on to the bread before it gets completely cooked. Otherwise it wont stay like this. Place the bread after the egg is poured in 30seconds. Then fold it and turn it over. You might be wondering will it be cooked inside. It surely will be cooked. Lets transfer this to our plate. Now we can cut and have it. Our bread omelette is ready. Lets give it to Jan to have. He had already eaten. Not sure if he will enjoy having it now since he is out of hunger. It does make a difference in when you eat. In some places the bread and egg have fused together. That juiciness into the bread is awesome. This can be made in a minute. All you have to do is place the bread, fold it and turn it over when its half cooked. Then cover the bread and take it fast from the tava too. If you dont do those steps soon, the egg turns hard, it doesnt stick to the bread and doesnt soften the bread When you take it when its soft itself, the inside will also be cooked.
