Channuka Candle Making
Make a mould in one of the following two ways:
A) collect some vegetables that are hollow and self standing. Cut the tops off and fill with beads of wax with a wick in the middle
B) smother vaseline over a glass container that is wider at the top than the bottom. Pour liquid wax inside and when almost hardened put a wick in the middle. when hard, remove and you will have a shaped candle. You can also do this in three stages with different coloured wax to make a layered effect.

Make donuts with small notes of love inside for your recipients to find and read.
1) print notes on thick paper using ink that is permanant
2) make donuts and stick notes inside before frying.
recipe:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- sprinkle nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tbspn vinegar
- 1/2 cup milk
1) Put dry ingredients in a bowl
2) cream butter and add sugar slowly, beating until light.
3) add egg and vanilla snd beat well
4) mix vinegar and milk and add slowly to dry ingredients, mixing in between
5) roll flat to about 1cm thick and cut with a 5 cm cutter
6) fry in hot frying pan all over til golden brown
